Dr. Shariff obtained his Bachelors Degree in Surgery in K.L.E. University, in Bangalore, India. He moved to the US shortly after in order to specialize in Dental Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology, in Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He then joined Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for a Dental Public Health Residency, after which he worked in the Periodontics Division and obtained his Master of Science in Periodontics and is where currently works as a full-time Faculty. Dr. Shariff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Dental Public Health. His passion includes both Clinical and Epidemiological research
This lecture will review the most relevant atraumatic sinus lift techniques published throughout the years, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear him discuss the most recent advances with a minimally invasive technique, by using the Versah Osseodensification burs. The lecture will include decision trees for appropriate case selection and treatment planning and a thorough discussion of the step-by-step technique of the Densah burs.
