Dr. Shariff obtained his Bachelors Degree in Surgery in K.L.E. University, in Bangalore, India. He moved to the US shortly after in order to specialize in Dental Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology, in Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He then joined Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for a Dental Public Health Residency, after which he worked in the Periodontics Division and obtained his Master of Science in Periodontics and is where currently works as a full-time Faculty. Dr. Shariff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Dental Public Health. His passion includes both Clinical and Epidemiological research
This lecture will help attendees have a better understanding of immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization by discussing both surgical and prosthetic aspects, different techniques step-by-step, and by defining proper case selection and correct treatment planning sequence. The various strategies and techniques that will be discussed during the lecture integrate both clinical and evidence-based approaches that will help improve ones knowledge and abilities.
